This Mausoleum is attributed to Fayoum’s favourite Sheikh, Ali Ruby who was one of the descendants of Prophet Muhammed’s uncle El-Abbass. the Mausoleum was built in 793 AH during the reign of Sultan Barquq as it is engraved on the wooden board inside the dome.
The mosque was named hanging mosque “ Al-Moallaq” because it was built on shops. i\It dates back to the Othman period. Built by prince Soliman Ibn Hatem on 966 AH. The mosque was built on plateau and it could be reached from the side of Bahr Youssef .the plan and the inscriptions of the mosque resemble the Mamluqi Mosques.
This Bridge was established by Lady Khawand Aslbay in the fifteenth century And Lady Khawand Aslbaa is the wife of sultan Qaitbey and sister of Sultan al-Zahir Qansouh
This bridge consists of two arches of stone which is built on the Bahr Youssef
In 1894 this bridge was rebuild which has been known from this time as El wadaa bridge And that is because it is located on the outside of the city and it is connected to its grave yard.
